Spectrum Scoreboards are the most durable and well-built scoreboards available today. You can easily expect 10-15 years on outdoor scoreboards and up to 30 years on indoor scoreboards.

It is 5-years for our scoreboards parts with a 10-year guarantee on the LED digits and finish.

How soon can you ship a scoreboard?

Typical shipping time is 2-3 weeks. Custom scoreboards with sponsor signs ship in 4-5 weeks after design and artwork approval.

All our scoreboards are finished in our premium three-part polyurethane finish, superior to automotive paint. We also offer our exclusive Perma-Coat finish that increases the life of your graphics, protects your finish, and enhances the overall look of your scoreboard.

Our Horizon™ LED Signs can range from around $10k for a small and/or single-sided sign to well over $100k for huge, tight-resolution, full-color projects.

Absolutely, since we’re a manufacturing facility, we can fabricate your identification sign in a variety of sizes, styles, custom-shapes, colors, backlit or not, in any color and in a number of different materials.

The short answer is ‘yes’, however, it’s important that we survey the existing cabinet(s) and support structure to determine whether or not they’re capable of receiving a Horizon™ Outdoor LED Sign retrofit.

We have small single-line, single-color units all the way up to large, full-color video screens and full-color, non-video billboard displays.

How easy is it to program messages to the electronic LED display?

It is very easy; beginners who are computer savvy will be sending messages to the sign within 15 minutes of start-up.

Our Horizon™ software packages use your computer to communicate with your LED display via Ethernet cable, fiber optic cable, various wireless units, telephone or our simple message-loader system.

How are Horizon™ Outdoor LED Signs installed?

Our signs can be installed using either a pole structure in concrete or anchor bolts in concrete. Your local wind codes will help us determine which method is best for you.

How much power is needed to operate the Horizon™ Outdoor Sign?

Our Horizon™ Outdoor LED Signs can run on either 120VAC or 240VAC power and they only need between 30-40 amps in most cases. Average power usage is around 12-15 amps of 120VAC.

How much are LED video displays?

How much are LED video displays?

ANSWER:

Video displays range broadly depending on size and resolution. We’ve installed indoor video projects that were under $100k and outdoor video projects that were well over $1M. Generally speaking, an indoor video screen doesn’t need to be as large as one installed outdoors but it will need a higher resolution, mostly due to viewing distances. Most outdoor video screen installations average around $500k for a full package that also includes the production equipment necessary for a video control room.

Our LED video displays can be configured in a multitude of sizes, but our more standard-sized outdoor Horizon Pro™ video displays range from roughly 10’-0"H x 13'-6"’W up to 16’-0"H x 29’-0"W.

Can the video display do instant replay?

All of our video displays are capable of showing an instant replay. A common misconception is that the replay process is done using the video screen. Not true. The replay process is actually created using video production equipment.

Can the video display be used as a scoreboard?

Yes. For this application our Spectrum MSX scoreboard controller is mated with our video control equipment then output to the screen. This allows you to score any sport, make the scoreboard any color, include team names and/or mascots, all digitally, and the scoring information – most importantly the clock – is updated on the screen in real time and changes occur as quickly as you push the button.

Yes. We normally always provide the video display equipment. If you already have some or all of this equipment, we can integrate our screen using some or all of your existing equipment.

You bet. This is the "Original” Practice Segment Timer that revolutionized the way coaches manage their practices. The concept of the Practice Segment Timer was inspired by legendary coach Emory Bellard to keep practices on schedule. Coach Bellard contacted Spectrum with his idea in 1986 to design and craft the first segment timer... thus the Practice Segment Timer was born.
